« Fabulous place. I can't recommend it highly enough. The host was available and attentive. The yurt was really cool (be sure to try the night light show!) and the setting was perfect. The weather was also perfect but I can't really give credit to the host for that one! »

We should have paid attention to the reviews that weren’t good, but as we aren’t overly picky people we thought those leaving bad reviews were likely exaggerating - they weren’t. NO nice touches and RUN DOWN. The host supplies next to nothing, no serviettes/ napkins, Kleenex or even salt. What was there was more than likely left by past travellers. Chipped dishes and literally every mug was chipped. Broken toilet seat, no garbage can in bathroom,...

« While we only stayed one night here, it was the perfect location to get away from the noise of town traffic yet very close to Hokitika and right on the way to the Hokitika Gorge. There were only two of us but perfect spot for family with children or couples travelling together. »
