We spent mornings and evenings on the porch watching the boats and wildlife in a serene and quiet setting, but restaurants and shopping downtown were just a minute away by car. « Great location, just right in the middle of the little downtown area. You are just a few stops from stores, art gallery several restaurants. My favorite was the Pawling Coffee Roasters. This place really could not have been better. The beds are so soft it was hard to get up. Really nice shower with great water pressure. « Our stay at The Inn at Old Harbor was wonderful. My partner doesn’t love walking and They have their own stair case from the ferry parking lot. Within minutes we had picked up our keys at their sweatshirt store and had our feet up on our private balcony which made for great people watching and a cool breeze. Room 3 on the second floor had a king size bed and great light at sunrise. We could see the Newport Bridge! It was clean and comfortable We are coming back for Columbus Day weekend »
