« We decided to come here because it’s a place without light pollution. This hotel sound cool, so we will go it. But when we arrived, this place was really amazing ! Pool, garden, close to a Orange agriculture and AN AMAZING OWNER ! The breakfast was really good (vegetarian and vegan possibilities). This family work for your pleasure and we felt relax and peaceful Thanks ! »

« Propre, personnel sympa, bien situé pour les Kiteurs car à 2 mins de la plage et du parking ou tous les kiteurs se retrouvent, la circulation en moins, idem tout près des clubs Rrd et Best qui organisent des downwinds de Sunset Beach jusque Big Bay. Mais un peu bruyant, les chambres donnent sur la salle de petit déjeuner qui ouvre à 7h et la télé reste allumée non stop sur les programmes de sport. Or, les murs ne sont pas épais... A savoir, les w ends, à 3 minutes des bars et pubs ou cela...

« We loved this place! The ocean view from our room was spectacular. We checked out a few other places in town that are more expensive and the view from the Linhof is the best! Breakfast was excellent. Shirley, the manager who runs this place, merits special mention. She helped us get our bags upstairs, served us our breakfast and always had a smile and a kind word. We will definitely return. »

« Magnificent view of the sea and walk to the beach. The property is right on the beach. But the bed in room 8 was far too short. Lying on the bed my feet were 30cm over the end of the bed. It was even too short for my wife. Lounge and breakfast area are great with view over the wild sea »

« We often visit but this was our first stay. Was disappointing that accommodation was on a difficult piece of land away from the restaurant and cultural heritage museum. Was too much effort early mornings to trek kms away for our paid breakfast so we didn't have any. Couldn't shower as all showers are outside (too cold to venture outside) and bath water didn't heat up. Furniture needs tlc. Headboard in main room was not clean. No microwave To heat a quick meal. No guestbook re: restaurant times,...

« We arrived late at the property after a 6 hour drive, the owner refused to open the door, told us she had no booking, despite us having booked and paid through expedia. We were turned away with no where to stay at night with no phone data to find another place to stay. A terrible experience. The place appears very much to just be the owners house rather than a proper guest house. »

« Alabaster Box certainly is doing something right! Besides the home being immaculately kept, the service is top notch. Upon entering my room I was met with the most beautiful scent of sandalwood. A small fridge, and kettle were available for my snacks and tea. The shower was absolutely amazing, and much needed after a long car ride! The balcony even had views of the lagoon. There’s a serene koi pond in the back, and pool as well. Most of all, I felt safe as a solo female. May God bless this...
