« From the moment Jan met us and made us welcome we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is immaculate, romantic with fabulous views over the sea to the horizon. On our first day we could see the top of the South Island, Te Wai Pounamu and the Kaikouras.....heavenly. Jan and Doug had supplied essentials such as coffee and tea plus breakfast cereals and the pièce de rèsistance Doug's chutney. Thank you. »

« Such a lovely place to stay. You can sit on the back balcony looking straight out to sea for hours, and watch the most beautiful sunset. The fire was wonderful, and the accomodation was very warm and cozy. Beautifully done open kitchen and lounge, and comfy bed. Highly recommend. »

« It takes a little to get up the stairs, but it's worth the effort for the view alone. The place was clean, tidy and warm. There's some food in the cupboard (we left some as well). The booking process and communication with Kevin and Dreenagh was very pleasant and welcoming. Point Howard is only a short distance to Petone and Lower Hutt, and about 30 plus minutes from the airport (rush hour is a bit longer). Do as much or as little as you want. Just relax... »
