« This is a great place to relax, but there is not a lot to do at the hotel or within walking distance. The plunge pools with villa are fantastic! Due to the tides in the area, you can only swim in the ocean at high tide, and the water has a lot of seaweed. The restaurant is amazing, we really enjoyed all of our meals and the staff were always friendly and helpful. »

« I stayed at Backpackers before this is not backpacker anymore. Price of beer is $4 cocktail $8. Not eco anymore they have English toilets. Price of room is higher than nearby B&B. Everyone who was staying was complaining about the prices. This place used to be really nice and affordable and staff were friendly. Even new staff don’t seem to like working there. WiFi didn’t work at all so I couldn’t work. »

« Hotel à éviter le management n'accepte pas les critiques, nous avons fait savoir notre mécontentement de la nourriture, cuisine peu variée à base de plats italiens pas très attrayant ( pâtes et riz à tous les repas c'est dommage dans un pays africain) le restaurant ressemble plus à une cantine de collège qu'a un restaurant d’hôtel. Wifi de très mauvaise qualité et chambres basiques, une chaise pour deux pas de table juste un grand lit; loin de la plage. »

« This was a pleasant resort that was spacious and we enjoyed use of the pool and the availability of a restaurant on property. The restaurant service however was very poor and made it less interesting to utilize due to the difficulty of ordering. Overall the property is lovely and the reception was welcoming and accommodating. »

« The property is quite nice with some level of privacy which is really amazing, great value for money!The location is very convenient,15 min drive from Malindi Airport ( depending on the roads condition ). We had some low points though ,like blackouts -very disappointing as food in the refrigerator got spoiled on two occasions!, edge reception upon checkin , irritating beach boys, and NO PRIVATE BEACH! also the air conditioning system wasnt working most times. « Do not book this hotel! This is a scam hotel. It doesn’t exist. I booked it and on arrival at night time in Malindi spent over an hour in a taxi looking for it. It is not at the location on google maps and the telephone number is out of service. Even hotels.com could not contact the hotel. I even returned in the morning in daylight to see if I could find the place and no nothing there! The whole experience was distressing and now I am faced with getting a refund which I am assured by hotels com...
