« Dinner at the restaurant is fantastic! The Chocolate tour (5 min walk) was a great mid morning tour and very interesting - make and eat your own chocolate! The walk up to La Fortuna was challenging so ask for a ride of you need one. The owner was incredibly helpful and was able to get me a day pass to Baldi Springs for the locals rate :) »
« The property and gargens are absolutely beautiful and well maintained. It was quiet, clean, and the welcoming drink was very appreciated. Staff was also very nice.
We saw toucans and tons ofther birds on the site. Waking up with the singing birds was great. Will definitely return! »
« OMG! We just loved Chongos Place! The cabins are so cute and beautiful, clean with all necessities. The porch with the hammock was just our favorite place. The plants right outside the porch invite these beautiful hummingbirds and butterflies that we got to observe up close! And the pool was amazing, we spend hours in it each day. Great if you have kids (my daughter never wanted to leave the pool!)
And to top it all... the view of the Arenal is breathtaking.

« Honestly an amazing little spot near the city center. Quiet comfortable and everything you need. One of the light bulbs burnt out and they were there within minutes to replace it. Helpful with things to do around as well »
« Staff was very welcoming. Amazing place in the nature. At the on-site restaurant, you get really good food for a very low price, much cheaper than the average restaurant in La Fortuna and in a much nicer environment. I would stay again! »

« If you are staying in La Fortuna, I cannot imagine a better option. We used it as a home base for all the usual activities in the area. For meals, we could cook right there (the Super Rosvil market is a short walk away) or we could go out to eat - there's Mario's place on the next corner for easy food, or an easy walk to downtown for lots of other options). Secure parking at the apartment beat trying to find parking in town.
