It's 22 miles from Gatlinburg, secluded enough to enjoy the peaceful scenery of the water, yet horseback riding, river tubing, golfing, hiking and zip lining are just minutes away. Enjoy the local activities or spend a lazy day next to the creek on the covered porch.

Shiners’ Rest is a beautiful newly built tiny home designed in a log cabin style. It has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, as well as a loft perfect for 2 children. The cabin is nestled against the crystal clear Cosby Creek that babbles right out of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Shiners’ Rest is located 22 miles from Gatlinburg right off of scenic Hwy 321. Climb Works, Adventure Distilling Co and Bent Creek Golf Course are all less than 12 miles away. Carver Apple orchard is also just up the road. The property is a short drive from Gatlinburg’s shops and restaurants yet secluded enough to enjoy the peaceful scenery on the creek. There is fishing, horseback riding, river tubing, golfing, hiking and zip lining all within a few miles. It’s also just a short drive from the Glades Arts and Crafts community. A day trip to Dollywood and the many other activities in Pigeon Forge are 25 miles away. Also feel free to just hop in your car and take a leisurely cruise along the scenic Foothills Parkway, grab an Apple Pie at Carver's Orchard, a plate of award winning Smoked BBQ from Doc's 321 Cafe, or homestyle comfort food from Trish's Mountain Diner.

New Construction: This cabin was just built and there was recent digging in the yard to install utilities. Seed has been planted but if your reservation is during winter 2024/25 there may not be grass yet. However, there is a well maintained gravel driveway with parking, as well as a gravel walkway to the front door.

Loft: Whoever stays in the loft must be able to climb a steep staircase and be comfortable crawling as the ceiling is too low to stand upstairs.

Community spaces: Although this cabin is completely private it shares a lot with a quadplex. You may see other guests on the property, but the laundry room is the only shared space.

Laundry: There is a shared laundry facility on the property.
