Welcome to The Salty Hippo! Enjoy watching the ships go by in the Intercoastal Waterway from the upper deck while eating dinner at a table and watching the beautiful sunsets. Between the wrap-around covered deck with comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV, to a downstairs shaded patio with a charcoal grill and an outdoor shower, there is plenty of outdoor living space to get that well needed rest and relaxation. Downstairs, you can play cornhole while your pets can roam freely and stretch their paws in the fenced-in backyard.



The interior’s open floor plan allows room for everyone to connect and gather. The cozy living room features a plush sofa and recliner seating along with a smart TV for movie nights or keeping up with episodes of your favorite show. The dining room table can seat 8 for formal meals. The kitchen island makes it easy to pull up a stool and enjoy casual bites or prepare a delicious spread of afternoon appetizers. The kitchen comes fully equipped and stocked with everything you need to prepare convenient meals right at home, showcasing granite countertops and shaker style white cabinets.



Downstairs, you can have hours of fun playing ping pong, foosball, and watching movies on the Smart TV in the “Hippo Hangout” game room.

The covered 2nd floor porch and outdoor living space offers a comfortable setting to enjoy the views of the ship channel and a tranquil nature preserve which are practically in your backyard. You’ll be right next door to the community park where you can take advantage of the heated swimming pool, basketball courts, baseball fields, frisbee golf, skate park, and picturesque hiking trails.



THINGS TO NOTE:

• If you are bringing a pet, please be sure to select the total number of pets (limited to 2 pets of no more than 50lbs each) at the time of booking so the pet fee is included. The pet fee is $40 per night for up to 2 pets total. If you do not select this at the time of booking, please contact our Guest Services to ensure you have paid the pet fee before checking in.

• Parking is available for up to 6 vehicles, or 4 vehicles if bringing a boat or RV. There is covered 8’6” parking for boat or RV and a 10’ partial driveway for additional boat or RV parking options.

• 12’ covered boat or RV parking available. Please check with the Grand Welcome team regarding the height requirements beforehand to ensure you do not have issues parking.

• Please also note that additional fees will be charged for unauthorized late check-outs.

• A Pack-n-Play and a highchair are also provided.
