Inside, youâll find a bright, open floor plan that brings everyone together. The dining area seats four at a stylish glass table, perfectly situated next to the kitchen and living area. The living room features a large sectional sofa, two comfortable chairs, and a big Smart TVâideal for movie nights or relaxing after a day in the sun. The kitchen is a highlight, offering spacious counters, all stainless steel appliances, and plenty of cupboards for storage. Whether youâre preparing a family breakfast or a seafood dinner, youâll have everything you need right at your fingertips.
The home features three bedrooms and three bathrooms, giving everyone plenty of space and privacy. Upstairs, there are two king bedrooms and two bathrooms. Downstairs, a separate suite offers one queen bed, two singles, and its own updated bathroom with an open vanityâperfect for families or groups. All bedrooms feature Smart TVs with cable, Netflix, and Pandora. Free WiFi is available throughout the home, so youâll always stay connected.
Step outside to enjoy a covered picnic area, perfect for outdoor meals in the fresh sea air. The deck, set right next to the sands, is furnished with classic Adirondack chairsâideal for lounging, reading, or soaking up the ocean views. Thereâs no need to pack up for a beach dayâjust open the door and youâre there. The sand caliche driveway has plenty of space for several vehicles and a trailer, and thereâs an additional two-car garage for even more parking. To reach The Sunshine House, youâll drive on the beach between markers 9 and 10. Four-wheel drive is recommended during dry summer months. Look for the big yellow letters that say âThe Sunshine House.â If you see sand buildup in the driveway, keep a steady 15 mph and youâll be just fineâstopping could get you stuck.

We offer convenient keyless door codes for self-check-in. Starkey Properties by Portoro uses smart locks with check-in details provided 48 hours prior to arrival by email and text message.
âą Early check-ins or late check-outs: If the property happens to be ready earlier than the standard 4 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, in most cases an early arrival option may be available when confirmed with the main office. Late check-outs must be confirmed with main office staff prior to the date of departure.
City of Port Aransas - Beach Parking Permit Information:
To park along the beaches in the City of Port Aransas, a $12.00 permit is required. This applies to the area from Marker (0) to Marker (62). Beach parking stickers can be purchased at City Hall, the Chamber of Commerce, local grocery and convenience stores, as well as various vendors and businesses in town and on the beach. Free parking areas are available between the Jetties and Horace Caldwell Pier, as well as between Markers 52-58.
