Mermaid Crabby: Accueil Oceanside Ă  Whalehead Beach

Le bonheur abondera lorsque votre famille choisira de rester à la sirÚne Crabby, anciennement connue sous le nom de «Laisse tomber». C'est une maison de vacances spacieuse et confortable avec 8 chambres (7 maßtres), une grande piscine privée, un bain à remous et à seulement 200 mÚtres de l'accÚs à la plage dans le quartier de Whalehead Beach. Les nouveaux propriétaires prévoient des améliorations pour la saison de location 2020!

Lits: 2 King Masters, 4 Queen Masters, 2 ensembles de lits superposés en pyramide (1 Master)

HAUT NIVEAU:
La grande salle englobe tout le dernier niveau avec le salon et la salle à manger avec une grande cuisine. L'ßlot de bar peut accueillir 5 personnes, la table de petit-déjeuner 4 personnes et la table à manger 10 personnes. De larges ponts sont disponibles sur 3 cÎtés de la maison, orientés est, ouest et sud. Le toit-terrasse offrira une vue panoramique sur l'océan et le quartier tout entier.

NIVEAU MOYEN:
Tout l’étage comprend 5 suites principales avec tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat: 1 lit king, 3 reines et un ensemble de lits superposĂ©s en pyramide. Toutes les chambres ont accĂšs aux ponts extĂ©rieurs sauf le roi maĂźtre.

NIVEAU DU SOL:
Un grand salon et une aire de jeux avec une table de baby-foot, une kitchenette et un grand réfrigérateur. Trois autres chambres se trouvent à ce niveau: la deuxiÚme suite King Master et la quatriÚme suite Queen Master. Il y a une autre chambre à coucher avec lits superposés en pyramide qui partage une salle de bain complÚte avec le coin salon.

SUPPLÉMENTS:
La belle piscine comprend un bain Ă  remous et deux grils: un gril ïżœïżœ gaz et un gril de type parc pour charbon de bois. Il y a une zone abritĂ©e au-dessus de la table de pique-nique et deux douches extĂ©rieures pour prendre une douche avant d’utiliser la piscine ou le bain Ă  remous. Dans l'allĂ©e avant, les membres actifs de la famille peuvent s'entraĂźner Ă  lancer des cerceaux dans le filet de basket.

May Vacation with the family

The home was clean and provided us with rooms for the family to spread out.Having the heated pool was worth the extra money, given that the ocean was a bit cold for the little ones.The home could use some updating.Overall, we were all very happy with our stay.

Great Family Vacation

The property is spacious and was able to handle my family of 13 with ease. Short distance to the beach. Had everything we needed. A few minor problems but the management handled them immediately. Would definitely return to the Crabby Mermaid!

Perfect Property for Us

The layout of the house was perfect - kitchen and living room area on the top level, bedrooms on levels one and two. Kitchen was amazingly equipped - it had everything! We traveled with six adults and five children between 2 and 6 years of age. Pool was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed lunches at the picnic table by the pool. There was plenty of outdoor deck space. The decor in the house was very tasteful - we enjoyed going on "art hunts" to count mermaids, crabs, etc. We also enjoyed the location of the house - less than 2 miles to the Food Lion and Seafood Market, and only a few blocks to the beach. While we cannot do this trip every year, we will look to rent this house again when we return in 2026. Sincere thanks to the owners who made this property available to rent.

I’d give it 4 stars

Overall it went well but we had 2 infants and was not able to access the house earlier than 4. Which was very worrisome in 92 degree heat. Also there were no bikes there or beach chairs. The kitchen was very well furnished but the electric outlets on both sides of the sink and on the island quit working on Friday.

Nice property but needs a few upgrades

House was clean but carpet is old. AC vents on the 3rd floor were dirty and need to be changed. We have family members in HVAC that noticed that. Ocen and stove really need to be replaced. Could not open window in the 2nd floor front window. All this to say we had a good time but we would not rent this property again.

A longtime dream come true.

All the kids and grandkids under one roof for multiple days by the beach. We did it and we did it with little effort. Accommodations and cleanliness were key along with bathrooms for each of the five families and more for the kids. Dream come true.

great overall house and location, a bit in need of updating

The house and location were just as advertised. We were an extended family of 12 and had plenty of room. The kitchen has loads of dishes, cooking utensils and appliances. The furniture in the great room is worn and should probably be replaced. Most of the rooms are carpeted with a shag carpet that does not work well for a beach house. The front porch was covered in cob webs. The gas grill needs a through cleaning. The bottom was lined with at least an inch of ashes along with a partial hot dog. Only 4 of the 6 gas pipes would light, and the igniter does not work. I would rate the overall house with 3.5 starts given the size of the house and the location.

Our stay was great. Loved the location.

The house size was great for the number of people we had. We did have an issues with the lower level air conditioning unit, but the rental company was quick to resolve it. We also had some clogged shower drains and they fixed that right away too. Overall it was a great trip and a great place to stay for the week.

From the booking through the stay, this has been a great experience. The house has everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were so nice. The sun rise and sunsets were amazing from the many decks!

Nice House Room for Improvement

The home was nice, however, it was very dusty and spiderwebs were everywhere. The furniture was really old and should be replaced, the carpet is worn out and also should be replaced. Overall, we had a great vacation, but a little TLC to the house would make it a jewel.

Some issues that had to be fixed.

Loved location. Our toilet was severly cracked and flooded after 1 use. Took 2 days for a full replacement. Being the hosts, I'm glad it was us and not one of our guests. I'm hoping to receive some compensation for the major inconvenience of not having a working toilet for 2 whole days. Otherwise, lovely property.

Awesome house

This house had everything. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to cook, bake, chop, blend anything. The house was clean and provided the perfect home for our family of 16. Everyone had their own room and bathroom and we loved the pool and hot tub. Lots of memories made here. Highly recommend.

Wonderful time

Great location and amenities

The house is in a great location in Corrolla with convenient access to shopping, activities, and the beach. We requested that the pool be heated, which was accommodated, and enjoyed the private hot tub also. Unfortunately, we didn't notice the boogie boards and additional toys until we left, but they were provided. The rooms were decently sized, neatly made, and had sealed washcloth/towels sets provided. Smart tv with Bluray player was included in the living room and each bedroom had its own television. The only downsides are that the walls are thin so you will hear others in their rooms and the living room sofa could use a good cleaning.

Great vacation Crabby Mermaif

Crabby Mermaid is an awesome place to stay, lots of room, game room heated pool, TVs in every room and everything you need in the house while you are away from home. Our family had a wonderful time. This place is awesome great for a family vacation, forgot love sitting on the decks.

Great time, convenient access to the beach, etc. I would also note that even with 5-6 of us working remotely the internet worked great (including multiple simultaneous zoom calls).
