"This was our first trip to Ecuador. We stayed our first two nights at Lugano Hotel, and we had a very positive experience! We arranged for airport pickup through the hotel ahead of time, and after flying all night, it was a welcome sight to have a driver with my name on a paper waiting for us! "Well worth the money, very large suites. A bit dated and tired. Bring ear plugs (dogs barking much of the night, and sleep masks and clips to keep the curtains shut. Slow service in the restaurant, but very good food. Front desk staff were very friendly and happy to help with anything. If you're looking for a very decent hotel at a very fair price, this hits the mark. If you want luxury, you'll need to pay twice as much, or more. Safe location and UBER friendly. "
