« Great room, perfect little continental breakfast and coffee machine which was so convenient. Rooms were super. Great bathroom and is close enough to walk into town. « We enjoyed our four night stay at Ashton retreat. We found it a welcoming place to relax and enjoy the established extensive gardens around the retreat.The little touches made it special-a full fruit bowl, fresh milk , a variety of breakfast cereals, fresh coffees and a variety of teas etc. Kate and Andy were very welcoming - - thank you for the delicious homemade berry jam and fresh homegrown rhubarb. We are looking forward to returning in the near future. »

« This is an excellent location, about a 10 minute walk to the east gate of Belair National Park which is a great attraction. We saw great birds and wildlife there and there is a nice dirt path that takes you right to the gate without having to walk on the roads. There are a lot of homes nearby but it is a quiet neighborhood. We had laughing kookaburras right outside our window at dawn and dusk which was fun. The unit itself is clean and comfortable. « I had the most relaxing break here that I think I've ever experienced. Everything in the accommodation was perfect, and all the little extra touches just made me feel so welcome. Breakfast supplied (and you can go and visit the hens!), no traffic noise.... just birdsong in the mornings and the occasional horse noises.Peace and quiet and comfort. What else could you ask for on a break? »

« Fabulous property inside and out. Two incredible king bedrooms with their own bathrooms (one ensuite and one next to and off the lounge). Lovely kitchen, big tv and comfy lounge and parking for two cars. Is on a busy road but quiet post 10 pm and this is reflected in the pricing. Spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The washing machine is a washer/dryer so factor that in if on a long trip and needing to do laundry. »
