« Charming miners cottages in the centre of Burra, within easy walking distance to eating & shops. Quiet, spacious, very comfy bed. Being winter the cottages do get cold but heat pump soon fixed that. When we arrived at the front of the cottages a notice on the gate said to check in around the corner at the office on site so we drove around only to find a board propped against a tree saying check in was now via the camp ground along the road. « This cottage has been restored to perfection and was considered a home rather than a house by our family of six who stayed for four nights. The interior could be straight out of a glossy magazine and my Mum (in her 80's) was constantly wowed by the authentic vintage utensils on display. We were fortunate to meet our hosts who were even more charming than their cottage.
