The spring garden was blossoming, the chickens and lambs delightful and the river and sunsets lovely.Caretakers Wayne and Donna were welcoming, knowledgeable and very helpful. « The accommodation & location is amazing, surrounded by nature with a perfect outlook towards the mountains. Open fire, very spacious with plenty of room to accommodate the three of us. The kitchen is generally well equipped but could do with a larger frying pan to accommodate 3 peeps & there were no oven trays. »

« Lovely little cottage , clean and tidy, beautifully heated for a chilly stay in the Snowy Mountains. In high winds the chimney whistles tunefully. Lots of wild life and a few deer came by. The fire was a real treat. »

« A great stay which was private and tranquil. It was exactly what was needed to reconnect and recharge. It was a bit surprising to have reception only in one tiny spot which was difficult and would have been helpful to know. Arriving and not being able to check in on a vulnerable family member from time to time did impact on the stay. If you want to completely disconnect from the world, it’s perfect. If you need reception and to be contactable, this stay isn’t ideal. »

« A lovely cottage with lots of amenities. The house was very warm and cosy with the split system and fire. Firewood was green therefore hard to establish fire. We had a fun stay there while skiing. »

« Our family of eight people experienced an enjoyable stay in a very well equipped and comfortable accommodation. Nestled in the hills surrounding Tumut and adjacent to the river, the location was perfect. We did however become a little disoriented returning to the accommodation in the dark and after enjoying a delightful meal at The Star hotel.
