« Andrew is the perfect host. The cottage was thoughtfully equipped, clean and in a lovely quiet location amongst nature. The breakfast supplies were generous and delicious! »

« Pros - Immaculately clean. Lovely room and grounds. Well equipped room with comfortable bed. Easy check in process. Cons - little far out of town. Needs sound proofing - could hear neighbours every sound-(foot steps, alarm clock, talking and jug boil) »

« I can’t fault our stay at Riverbend Gardens. It began with a warm welcome from our hosts Wendy, Mark and their adorable menagerie, along with a cuppa and chocolate cake. The unit was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. Our last day started with a yummy breakfast and more bottle feeding of the lambs and we were farewelled with beautiful rose bouquets. We will definitely be back! »

« In summary - quiet, rural, friendly. Beautifully decorated, comfy and warm room part of, but separate from, the main house. Lots of well behaved dogs, chooks, guinea fowl, cats to share the stay with. Bonus was the cooked breakfast! Axedale is on the rail bike trail and Bendigo has so much to offer! »

« I would never go there again owner was staying vin room behind my room thin walls and ironing board was leaning against our wall and it got knocked by movement on the access door adjoining room 2 as we were placed in room 1 .
