« We got there in the middle of winter so it was very cold, and the weather was terrible. However, when the sun came out it improved. The fire heaters are a bit inadequate for heating in the dead o winter but should be suitable for the rest of the year. Otherwise, it was clean and reasonably well equipped. Plenty of hot water for showers and cooking. »

« Rosthwaite Farm was easy to find, the cabin was exactly as the photos. Huge shower with warm towel racks and rain shower head, plus the floors were warm. Having pretty much zero exposure to cold weather after living in Hawaii for 23 years, this cabin was super on point cosy, amazing surroundings with all the horses, hosts were lovely and helpful with tips around the area to visit. « Great little cottage, we had a lovely time on the farm. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming and the cottage was well equipped with fire wood and a lovely fire pit outside. Very relaxing and would visit again! »

« There is a small enclosed yard, but it is not attached to the house. Dog had to be on a lead to get to the yard, which was challenging at night. there are many other dogs on the property and although contained, they barked a lot at night. The space did not feel private as there are many other dwellings on the property. Would suit a small dog ok, but not our dog of working breed. »
