You can take the stairs next to the house directly up to the botanical gardens and cafe. The gas heater in the lounge made the cottage warm and comfortable when needed. We were very comfortable for our nine night stay apart from a few negatives…I was really disappointed to find that the spa didn’t function at all and there was a crack in the shower base that looked like...
