Jodee was an absolutely amazing host and made sure we had everything necessary for our visit. I have a lowered Tesla and I made it with no issues at all and I was able to make it both ways in to the yurts. « If you’re in Galax, VA, this is the place to stay for walkable access to local hiking and downtown. I stopped into town to visit a parent in the local nursing home and it was an easy walk. The place was clean, fresh, and thoughtful with modern finishes like outlets near the bed to charge with ease. Only issue I faced was low water pressure in the shower. Otherwise, I enjoyed a cup of coffee on the front deck in the morning overlooking the hills, slept comfortably, and appreciated the snacks....

Construction was in process to install fencing and it was difficult to maneuver around the on-site dumpster to access the two visitor parking spots for guests. »

« A spur of the moment trip with my mom turned out to be the perfect spot for a long weekend. This little efficiency is clean, has everything one could need with a fully stocked kitchenette, spacious bathroom, a cozy bed (a double, snuggle up if you're not alone) and a covered patio to enjoy the outside. Convenient to Sparta, NC and Independence/Galax, VA and very near a river access. The owner was very responsive and communication was great. I would definitely choose to stay here again if...

« My first Vrbo experience. I had not heard from the host since booking and it was the day of check in. I was ok with that as my plans were in flux. Around 2pm the day of check in, I messaged the host saying that I may cancel as I had not heard from them, and my evening plans may be canceled, allowing me to return home.
