On our 2nd night we ate at The Royal Hotel, which is only a short walk from Air’s Cottage.During our 2nd day in Penola we walked to nearby Petticoat Lane, to view a collection of National Trust cottages & a well cared for National Trust Herb garden!We also visited a few Coonawarra wineries, which are all a very short drive away! »

« This was an extremely disappointing property. It was rundown, outdated, (unnecessary clutter everywhere), unclean and in poor condition, inside and out. The cleanliness of the kitchen, with musty cupboards, dirty dishcloths, unclean cutlery and filthy fridge and BBQ was a disgrace. The precarious shower over the bath was an extreme safety issue and should be addressed with at least one safety rail.
