« Historic Air’s cottage was absolutely delightful, perfectly situated to explore the township of Penola. Wonderful attention to historic detail, collections of antiquity and quirky surprises. « The hosts think of everything. A charming getaway in a pretty setting and an easy stroll to shops cafes and restaurants. All the Coonawarra wineries on your doorstep. Our little Jack Russell loved the backyard. The fireplace made it very cosy in the crisp Autumn weather. The only downside for us was that the NBN team chose our last day to undertake noisy drilling works right beside the cottage which went on for 10 hours. Needless to say it encouraged us to head out for a few more wine...

« This was an extremely disappointing property. It was rundown, outdated, (unnecessary clutter everywhere), unclean and in poor condition, inside and out. The cleanliness of the kitchen, with musty cupboards, dirty dishcloths, unclean cutlery and filthy fridge and BBQ was a disgrace. The precarious shower over the bath was an extreme safety issue and should be addressed with at least one safety rail.
