1. Hope House - Retraite Chrétienne

Eastman

« The Hope House was so charming, clean and comfortable. Everything needed and more was provided and well appointed in all areas. The property was beautiful and serene with outdoor seating areas, including swings to enjoy the lakeviews and grounds. The house has a sweet screened in porch attached to enjoy morning coffee or evening breezes. We were two couples that stayed there during the Peaches to Beaches event, and Hope House was convenient to shopping and dining, though you can certainly...

« House was pretty, secluded, spacious. Bathroom setup was strange, like it wasn't thought out at all. Dim lighting in kitchen, many light switches didn't seem to work. Would've been a great place to stay except for the cockroach infestation in the kitchen. At first, i thought there were only a few, but i sprayed the cabinets down with the can of roach spray i found and when i came back there were dead roaches all over the floor. No way i was sleeping in that house at that point. Owner wanted to...

« Traveled to the area to play golf at different courses in South Georgia. The location of the property was central to the courses we intended to play. The communication with Tim (the owner) was exceptional, we even met the property manager as we checked in. The house was equipped with everything anyone could possibly need during their stay. The location was just 10 miles from McRae and local restaurants. Would definitely book this property again. »

« I really did not want to do this but I need to be honest. This was the absolute worse place that I have stayed for a vacation home. We were in town from Florida for our family reunion. Found this place last minute due to a change in family size. Pulled up the grass is un-maintained and house looks a little abandoned. The check-in code was provided. Easy access to home but when we opened the door is was the loudest smell of just old. Looks old everything is outdated. Roaches big & small will be...
