« My family stayed at Jacomb's Cottage (me, my husband, two teenage daughters and my parents-in-law from overseas). It is such a cute, comfortable and historical cottage! We had a lovely time. The cottage is a short walking distance to almost everything in town. We loved all the history in Walhalla, the walks in the hillside nearby, the gold mine and we even did a ghost tour! « Snug and cosy are good descriptors of this old cottage. Yes, it is old,but it is very comfortable and the owners have provided just about anything you may wish for. Right in the town , and just behind the pub, makes it ideal if you want a meal or drink plus just a stones throw away are great cafe's and they make a mean coffee. Parking is out the back with a garage if you want to use it. That is a good idea on very cold mornings as your windows are not frosted up. There is a fire and ample wood...

« A perfect spot to get away from the busy Melbourne everyday grind. Friendly, loveable doggies greeted us for a play after we were welcomed by geese and chooks. « Every comfort is thought of and provided for. Beautiful gardens and cottage. Bull is a lovely person who can't do enough for you, we had a great time here. Only a 40 minute easy drive to the prom. Lots of other things to do nearby. Fully recommended. »

« Stayed at Carrajung Estate while working for a few days in the area. Very pleasant country-style accommodation in a secluded location. Hosts were super helpful throughout the booking process and were very flexible with check-in arrangements. The cottage itself was nice and tidy, although it did feel a little run down, especially for the price. »

The property was exactly as described cosy, clean and full of thoughtful touches like shampoo, body wash and kitchen condiments that made us feel right at home. Our dog absolutely loved the secure yard, and we really enjoyed the nearby dog-friendly walks and beaches. It was the perfect spot for a bit of R&R.
