« Very cute cottage that sits on a farm. You can watch the goats and sheep while sipping coffee on the front porch. The cottage is modern with a nice bed, big modern bathroom, and a mini kitchenette with table, keurig, mini fridge, and microwave. The room is not very big though so it would be best for solo travelers or couples. The place is an easy 8 minute drive from Staunton shops and restaurants. I’d definitely stay again for the ambiance, nature, and charm. »

« Overall, our stay was great! It was exactly what we were looking for location-wise, and we had a fantastic time. All of the amenities worked, but a few had some cosmetic issues. The top of the microwave would fall off when we used it, and the dishwasher is starting to fall due to the way it was installed. Besides these few issues, everything went well! Would stay again. »

« It was a quiet house with expansive views. There’s a trail by the house that’s perfect for walking yourself or with your fury friends. The walk borders a stream and provides nice views of the farm. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. I highly recommend if you want a place that feels like it’s off the beaten path but actually close to everything you need. »

« The apartment should be listed as apartment and not entire house. The apartment was very clean and easy to access. There’s plenty of food and bars to go to in immediate area. The downside to this is if there are people occupying upstairs you WILL hear them and not by a little bit either. Also there is only ONE way in and ONE way out which is a safety hazard considering if something were to happen in the kitchen people would essentially be trapped. The parking pass was expired. Walkable to the downtown, and convenient to skyline drive, wineries in Afton, and at a stretch, Charlottesville and Monticello.Highest praise for the very responsive way they took care of an ant problem in the property. They acknowledged the (entirely normal) issue in minutes on the app and had a pest control team out in hours. Kudos »

« Great family home that is pet-friendly. Everything went smoothly from correspondence with the host before our stay to check-in and check-ups during our stay. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Perfect location to go skiing in Wintergreen and visit the many breweries and wineries in the area. I would highly recommend a couple of days at The Blue Liama. »
