« Our 3rd year returning to this wonderful home in Calais! The close proximity to Montpelier and Stowe is a blessing, but the best part is hitting that dirt road on the way to the house. The community is so welcoming, always offering a wave or a smile. The house is situated on a gorgeous piece of land, walking distance to Curtis Pond. We snowshoed the quarter mile down to the pond through 2 feet of pure VT powder - identifying animal prints amongst the birch trees in the snow along the way. Our...

« We enjoyed our stay at this classic VT farmhouse. Our family and friends found it very comfortable and relaxing. Our dog loved it as well. We took advantage of the wood stove (had to get some kindling and newspaper to get it started). Maybe think about getting a few more knives, forks and spoons. We had 8 for a couple of nights and used all 8 provided. Loved the location. Nice uphill walks and just a 6 minute drive to Sugarbush pkg lot. All in all a great week. Would come back here...

« Nice location off of Route 100 there was a little road noise but the house is situated a bit back. The seating was super comfy and the kitchen was nicely stocked for cooking. It was awesome to be able to bring our pup! »

« Superb and thorough pre-trip instructions made our arrival a breeze. Beautiful kitchen well-stocked for all our cooking needs. Great gas grill put to good use. Spacious home with tons of activities for the kids in our group ages 3-13. Outdoor pool. Treehouse, Hammock and Fire pit and Game room all put to good use. Multiple dining areas inside and out. Gorgeous mater bedroom/bath. Incredible vistas of the Green Mountains! We loved this house and the helpful, friendly owners! »

« The house was very comfortable for us - two adults and a 30lb well behaved house dog. It was a perfect home base for our day trips and visits with friends. It's close to town (less than 10 mins) yet secluded enough to feel like the middle of nowhere. The house was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a good stay, and the host was fantastic with excellent communication. We def hope to be back! Recommended. »

« This place will exceed your expectations. It’s so hard to find a good mountain house that can fit your group size, isn’t old / musty and is affordable. This house was modern, had tons of places to hang out, a massive kitchen and more bedrooms than we even needed. The views were amazing, especially from the hot tub. We all posted instagram stories of our view from the beds with the mountains in the background. The drive to the mountain was less than 10 minutes and you’re a few minutes from town...

« Stayed for 2 nights in January. Beautiful location, beautiful home. Incredible views of Sugarbush. Hot tub is large and heats up quickly. Laura is responsive and available for any issues/questions. The driveway is very steep but with good tires and AWD it’s manageable. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for winter or summer getaway »
