« We had a great stay at this VRBO. The home was spacious, exactly as advertised, and worked very well for our group. Everything felt welcoming and comfortable from the moment we arrived, and it was clear the property was set up thoughtfully for guests.One small note for future visitors: we did not notice any identifying marker or address sign visible from the road. I’m sure that may be intentional, and with modern GPS it really wasn’t a problem for us, but it might help some guests to know ahead...

« I have a few notes to make it better! Lighting outside for safety. Storm debris (broken sticks and limbs on the deck made it quite unsafe, and especially in the dark. My Mom is 78, and uses a cane, so that was a bit unsettling. A/C not in East bedroom, and with no drapes, it was an oven. Had to keep both bedroom doors open to share the A/C from West bedroom. No iron, laundry, (because dryer needs repair) No plates or bowls. No pillow cases for large pillows in closet. No trash cans in any room...

« Stayed here for our kiddo’s graduation from Knox College. A beautiful wonderful property with so much history. We enjoyed seeing all the family history. My mother-in-law and I were reminded of visiting our family farms when we were younger. Only thing we didn’t like was the septic system is very old and you can’t flush toilet paper. Other than that it was a beautiful property and a cozy home. »

« We had a great stay, I would recommend this place to anyone that is willing to climb a ladder to a loft to sleep. That being said the smaller cabins chairs in the living room area aren’t the most comfortable. The fire wood will cost you 20 if you wish to have a fire maybe bring your own. I also don’t feel that I should have to strip the bed or take the trash out if I am paying a cleaning fee. The bed is also not the most comfortable in the world. We did have a great time though. Just leaving...
