« Walden was exactly as advertised. We loved the cozy atmosphere and creature comforts. Due to rainy weather we did not get to utilize a lot of the outdoor and riverside amenities but recognized them for being available had the weather cooperated. Derek was very responsive to any needs we had. We loved the screened porch and ate their and enjoyed drinks despite the weather. We are already planning a return visit. »

« My wife and I spent a lovely weekend at Cardinal Cabin along with our dog, who lived his best life running and sniffing through the adjacent forest. The property was clean and cozy. We especially enjoyed the firepit and hot tub! »

« We stayed at this cabin for a long weekend and it was great. Nice private and quiet. Loved the hot tub. Fully equipped kitchen was nice to have. You do have to bring your own towels, sheets , and bath soaps which they do tell you ahead of time. The location was perfect for the National park and caverns. River outfitters for tubing and kayaking was a few minutes away. Definitely recommend this cabin! »

« Extremely well appointed. We loved all the goodies. We had everything we needed and then some. What a gem! »

« Beautiful Cabin in the woods. Clean, well stocked and well maintained. Beautiful area in the Shenandoahs. The fish were not biting but everything else was perfect. Some spider web removal on the back deck near the Hot Tub and trash cans may be necessary, but to be expected in the woods. Highly recommend this cabin and plan return again !! »

« A great experience all-around for a quiet anniversary weekend. Cabin was really nice, with great view of the mountains. Even though our weather was not great, it was still fun to sit on the porch and watch the clouds move over the mountains. The location is great too; we enjoyed dinner in Luray, which is just maybe ten minutes away. It's also close to the Skyline Drive entrance and lots of hiking opportunities. The cabin was clean and well outfitted, just as advertised. »

« I wanted to take my kids to Luray Caverns and to explore Skyline Drive because those were good memories from my childhood. The kids (10 & 12) enjoyed both. We loved being right on the river but I'll admit the bugs were out in full force this first weekend of May. This was our first time renting a pet friendly home so we could bring our small dog and I am thrilled to say that you could not tell that other dogs had been staying there. The home was clean and did not smell at all like "dog." Thanks...

« Arriving at the property the gravel drive way took you up to the beautiful cabins which revealed a gorgeous Mountain View. The property grounds are very well maintained and the cabin was gorgeous. Very cozy and had everything as described in listing. We spent most of our time in the newly installed patio which gave a postcard view. The bed swing was a nice surprise as the listing doesn’t reflect the new addition. On our second day the owner stopped and made sure our stay was going well and he...

« Had a wonderful three day stay in this rustic mountaintop cabin. Kitchen was decently stocked, both bathrooms worked well, and beds were comfortable. Owner was very responsive to the one question we had. Would definitely book again. »

« My husband, myself and children went to spend fathers day weekend and birthday. We had an awesome time, beautiful new cabin, GREAT VIEW, well equipped....the cabin has everything you need. lovely place. We had dinner in Luray Town (15 mins away) in the Chop House Bistro (great food). Used the jacuzzi, fantastic family time. »
