We had a little walk down to the private shore which is really beautiful. The only con here is about breakfast: first, the previous hosts' breakfast had been left on our terrace; second, our own breakfast was quite limited, we would have liked to have a choice. »

« This property exceeded our expectations. It was a delightful older New England rambling house with wonderful art, furniture, and a fully set up kitchen. It was not far from route 1, but far enough back to not be a problem. Cobb Rd dead-ended at a nature reserve of 170 acres, all wooded. The flower and herb gardens around the house were lovely, and we made pies from the rhubarb. We were delighted to find a brand new supercharger in Searsport to charge our EV only 5 miles away. « Absolutely stunning place to stay. A great deal of care and effort went into putting this place together and it absolutely shows. Chris and Ryan clearly proud themselves on being excellent hosts, and they should.My only complaint would be the mattress. But that has more to do with personal preference than the stay. Honestly, even with that, we can't wait to stay again and as I write this in our current stay, I wish we were already back. »
