« My mom and I came to Thomasville to celebrate our birthdays. We loved the cabin! It's so peaceful. We walked the trails. We saw deer, rabbit, squirrels. We fished and caught several bass. The cabin is close enough to everything you'd want to do in Thomasville yet the perfect retreat to get away from everything. It felt safe and everything was even better than the pictures showed. « Our family booked the longleaf cabin for a long weekend to see my step-son graduate with his PHD from FSU. The location of the property to FSU was a short 30 min drive which was convenient & kept us out of downtown away from all the college students celebrating the end of the semester. « We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Governor’s Cabin. We were in Tallahassee for FSU graduation and wanted something unique, and this is just what we were looking for. It’s very relaxing and only about 30 minutes to Tallahassee. The cabin is rustic and has all the amenities. The beds are very comfortable and everything was very clean.
