« More than I ever would have expected. Beautiful setting. Lovely cottage with all the amenities. Walk right out the front door into beautiful wooded areas and nearby stream and waterfall. Folks were friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. I hope to return someday soon. »

« The lovely cottage, amazing pool, covered deck, beautiful landscaping, cute dogs, and kind hosts combine to make for the perfect oasis in Chico. I'm grateful to have been able to stay there while moving my son into Chico State. »

« The home was so thoughtfully prepared for us. The check-in was simple and easy. The kitchen was well stocked and as such we could easily make our own meals. We had no issues with electronics - i.e., wifi, tv, etc. The location was central to everything we were doing. We had rented a car and it typically took 10 minutes or less to every place we needed to go. »

« Great little place! Enjoyed breakfast on the deck with family and good conversations in the living room. It may be farther from town than some folks are looking for, but if you're looking for a good escape to the Butte Creek Canyon, this is hard to beat. »

« Beautiful family cabin with a view of Lake Almanor. We enjoyed watching the colorful sunsets over the lake while sitting on the deck. Spacious, clean and well appointed with all the kitchen items you'd need. The cabin is in a quiet area, not far from Chester and easy access to the lake. We loved our comfortable stay and would happily return in the future. Thank you for a delightful base for our adventures! »

« Were unable to get inside upon first arriving, messaged host and they replied shortly. Locked ourselves out later in the stay and once again they replied promptly. The property and interior were wonderful with a great view and working amenities. Thank you hannah and Rob! »

« Place was clean and easy to check in . Host was communicative and we had everything we needed. The water pressure and the double shower head was a nIce surprise. I did notice that some of the privacy issues mentioned on previous reviews were still there: There were no curtains on the kitchen window , very thin see through curtains on the bedroom window, and the giant floor to ceiling window and glass door inside of the bedroom with curtains only on the host side. We were lucky that...

« We loved this little cabin, it was fully stocked. It had everything we needed. The cabin itself was updated and clean. We will definitely stay here again. »

« This is a very lovely apartment with peek-a-boo views of the river. My pup and I had a wonderful stay. Bed was comfy and place was very clean. Wonderful screened in porch for morning coffee. The main home and other cottage was rented by a party that let us know we were not welcome to enjoy the back yard and riverside space, so we stayed away and enjoyed the river view from the living room window. Hopefully the next guests get to enjoy the river and the dock. I would def stay here again! »
