« Codax retreat was a fantastic home for our family of 14 people (ages 2-60). We did have to get creative with sleeping situations with kids as some of the sleeping areas are in the loft which is very open. We comfortably slept 8 adults in beds and 2 kids in the bunk beds. The other four kids slept on kid air mattresses (not provided). The 2.5 bathrooms were great to have. The open space was great and the garage - the kids LOVED. « Very nice accommodations with nice surroundings by the river. It was so quiet at night and no nearby road traffic to bother either. We enjoyed visiting Timm's Hill and Big Falls County Parks, which were recommendations from our host. »

« Me and my husband were looking for a nice quiet place away and we learned that's exactly what we got! Very little traffic on the road, you felt like you were the only ones around. I would definitely go back but when we arrived there was a for sale sign. It's a wonderful place to stay. And I hope we can go back next year! »

« Cabin was very clean upon arrival. Easy to access. Looks just like the pictures. We had a family of five and one dog. We had more than enough room for all of us to stay comfortably. We appreciate the ability to bring our dog with us on vacation. My only small concern was there were no life vests available for us to use with the kayaks. We had to purchase our own. Also, between the brown bear and the black bear there are four kayaks and only one good paddle. We made due but would have at least...

« Hello, myself and and a few college buddies were here last week. The place was as advertised and worked out very well for our group. The fishing was great until it turned cold on Thursday. But, board games killed the time perfectly. I would recommend the cabin for sure. »

« The house was perfect size for our family with lots of room to have meals & game time together. The oven worked, however, not very well. Cooked pizzas on the grill in order to get crust done. Patio door quite hard to open/close, so we used the side door, which was no big deal. Overall, enjoyed the beautiful home. Plenty of room, plenty of bathrooms/showers and rec area! »

« We had a great time at the cabin. It was very clean and well maintained. The hosts made sure there was ample water and firewood.The property was beautiful with plenty of options to keep you busy.Bugs were definitely bad, but wearing the right clothing and using bug spray, worked well.I did find some ticks on my dog, but this is the woods and it’s to expected.I will definitely be back! »

« We stayed at this lovely home for three nights for a family event nearby. The house is as described and has everything you need for a quiet stay in the woods. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck in the mornings and lounging on the big comfy couch at night. We also enjoyed being right on the water but know that it is quite a few steps down to the dock. »
