« This is the best place I have ever stayed so far. It’s absolutely perfect for two or three families with kids. The area is very calm and peaceful, and the home itself is cozy, clean, and comfortable. Everything you need is provided, which makes the stay even better. « This home was perfect for my family’s post-Christmas ski getaway. Location is ideal (only 10 minutes from Elk Mountain), plenty of space for a small family, and communication with the host was excellent. Karen checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable and even came to shovel and salt the driveway/walkway after a snow storm. The only downside to the area is a lack of really great dining options, so be prepared to do some cooking during your stay. But the spacious kitchen makes that easy!...

« The host was so amazingly responsive. The cottage is beautiful; the grounds are beautiful. It is very private, as described with lovely views and so much space! My dog had a blast running laps around the yard. Sunrises were really lovely, either from the screened in porch, the deck in the yard, the dock, and even the window of the primary bedroom. « This was our 4th? 5th? time staying at Joe's place, at this point we just pretend its our second home. A great place to land in any season, we love it, our dogs love it, and a great launching point for many great little towns in the area. This trip it was absolutely freezing and the house was warm and cozy with plenty of firewood and a well appointed kitchen so we could just hang out. Can't wait for our next visit! »

« We enjoyed our short stay at this clean and comfortable cottage. It feels like a mother-in-laws cottage, very 1970's vibe. The drip coffee maker was not shown in photos. The cottage seemed larger than the photos online. Mudroom/Laundry, Kitchen, Dining/Living room, hall/office, bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Enclosed porch and unenclosed porch, which we did not use. Heat was set at 70, but we closed the bedroom door to sleep at a cooler temp. We would definitely stay again »

"Nous sommes partis avec du retard de CDG (Paris). J’ai pris la peine de prévenir l’hôtel, sachant qu’en atterrissant à 22h à Newark, le temps de passer la douane, récupérer la voiture, etc…"
