« The cabin was just like the pictures. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We had a little confusion with the A/C when we got there. I messaged the host and received a fast response and was able to easily resolve the issue. We were very impressed with the cleanliness especially since pets are allowed. There were zero pet odors. Will definitely be recommending this cabin. »

« The owners were very welcoming and their property is exactly as described. We cooked a few times and had everything we needed, the place was well stocked, extremely clean and easy to find. The view from the porch was beautiful. You couldn’t ask for a more gracious hostess- thank you Kathy! We’re already discussing our next trip. »

« We had a great stay, and would come back. Ours was a multigenerational gathering and everyone was pleased. Kathy is easy and prompt to work with. Terrific location, the porch overlooking the lake and the number of sizable bedrooms set this apart. Better stocked kitchen than 95 percent of short term rentals. It’s a very minor thing but we could only get basic, local channels and no cable (ie no ESPN) if that’s important to you. It was only a nice to have, as the real star is being out...

« We enjoyed our stay very much and found this to be a perfect spot for a quick Labor Day Weekend getaway. Clean and cozy, with plenty of space for our family to spread out. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch and relaxing. The fireworks over the lake on Sunday evening were an added bonus. Exactly what we were looking for! »

« Thank you for sharing your beautiful mountain retreat with us! The thoughtful touches upon arrival made us feel so welcome. We loved exploring Ricketts Glen, the Switchback Trail, the creek, and ending our days with a cozy mountainside bonfire. The views were breathtaking, and our fur child had the best time too! We will definitely be back. »

« Thanks for sharing your welcoming cottage for our stay! We enjoyed kayaking and I took the rowboat out and caught a 20” LMB across the Lake from the decision city. The anchor rope broke as it was frayed at the end. Also the ants were very assertive in the kitchen until we put all food in the refrig.Best regards Tom and Sylvia »

« We had a wonderful time at Spruce Haven! We used it as a basecamp for a family reunion with our cousins at Elk Lake. The kids and grandkids had a great time on the pond fishing, riding in the peddle boat and using the stand-up paddle boards. We all took advantage of the trails around the property, the firepit, the par-2 golf hole, the vast lawn and all the great "toys" that were provided. Our Elk Lake family loved it when we had them over for burgers and dogs cooked on the Blakstone grill. ...

« We had a wonderful experience during our stay at this property. Lauren, our host, was consistently prompt and clear in her communications, making the entire process smooth and enjoyable. « This home exceeded expectations! So many details thought of ahead of time and ready for our arrival:Fire starters and split wood ready to go. Plenty of light to see as we arrived at night—this is a country setting, no city lights (beautiful for stargazing). *Plenty of towels, soap, blankets, condiments, coffee. *Close to highway, ease of local travel*Comfortable beds, linens, comforters*Welcomed with s’mores ingredients, roasting sticks, wine, and dog treats!I can’t say enough, this was a sad...
