« Thanks for sharing your welcoming cottage for our stay! We enjoyed kayaking and I took the rowboat out and caught a 20” LMB across the Lake from the decision city. The anchor rope broke as it was frayed at the end. Also the ants were very assertive in the kitchen until we put all food in the refrig.Best regards Tom and Sylvia »

« We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is in a great location, close to things but back off the main roads. Cozy cabin nicely decorated, and comfortable. We liked making fires in the wood stove since it was cold and rainy out. Would love to come back again. »

« The hosts were very welcoming and responsive although very little communication was needed. Everything was easy to find and very clean. You could tell that someone had taken the time to do a thorough cleaning job. We've had experiences where that wasn't the case. There were plenty of towels and blankets. Everything worked well, and there was even the added touch of coffee on the counter and creamer in the refrigerator. The neighborhood was peaceful and friendly. The house is spacious and family...

« The layout of the house is a little funky. You get to the downstairs and two of the bedrooms by going through the garage but wow…the downstairs is special! We had as many as nine people, including three children and there was ample space for everyone. We could really spread out. We were there for a month and it was a wonderful stay. »

« Stayed at Silas Hideaway for a hunting trip.Host Kathy was great to deal with.The house was close to town but out in the country with a great view.It was super clean with everything you need for your stay.The beds were also comfortable.Having stayed at several properties in the area I would have to say this was one of the best.Look forward to returning next year »
