« What a very special place this is. Wilfred and Vida are truly brilliant hosts. When we arrived they sat with us and had a lovely chat about the house and the area, recommended places to eat and provided lots of local intelligence. Tea and coffee is served in the room at 8am followed by a very generous and delicious breakfast. The two of them are a totally charming couple with their great sense of humour, stories and kindness They could give lessons on what true hospitality should be. »

« Nice property in an area that is crazy expensive. The hosts are warm and wonderful. We were there on a cold rainy summer weekend, and I was uncomfortable with the cold air that was fan-fed through vents throughout the house. Also had minor problems with the television in our room, and the darkness in the closed (no light). Breakfasts on both mornings were excellent. I expect that a sunny warm day would have been quite a different experience. »
