« We absolutely loved our one night stay here! This historic home is truly a home away from home. Beds were comfortable and the wrap around porch was a delight! We would definitely love to come back! »

« Very nice! We enjoyed this well decorated and extremely clean home. The kitchen was very well appointed, everything we needed was available. The bathroom was modern and the shower was huge! The bedrooms were very comfortable and the ceiling fans appreciated. We will plan on staying at the Stone Lake Getaway in the future. We stayed at this rental from Thursday to Monday. Using the paddle boards was very fun and we were happy that the weather permitted. »

« Home was great. Beautiful back yard and deck. Quite neighborhood. Plenty of room in the home. Felt the listing was accurate. Home was clean and had all of the basics. Owner was great with communication through the process and made sure we had everything we needed for the stay. »

« We came to town for our niece’s wedding and needed a big house for our families that was in a good location. This place delivered! It was large enough for our family, had activities for the kids and was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again! »

« Perfect house for a weekend getaway with a large group! The space was beautiful and very clean. Lots of different areas in the house which made it extra perfect for a large group. The pole barn full of activities was a huge hit! Unfortunately the pool heater wasn’t working when we were there, but it was on the chillier side outside so that was to be expected. Also of note that there are only two restrooms for a large group but that didn’t bother us. Would definitely recommend to others! »

« Immaculately clean and very well-appointed, with numerous thoughtful touches (sleep masks by the bed, sewing kit, pantry items, plenty of ice, selection of coffees and teas, etc.). Comfortable beds, comfortable seating in living room. Good communication leading up to stay. Prompt response from property manager to a minor problem on a Friday night (dead battery on the electronic door lock). A 10 minute stroll to the in-laws' house. Highly recommend! »

« This house was the perfect house for our large family to stay in. It has plenty of space & has absolutely everything you can think of that you would need. The outdoor area by the pool is perfect. We will definitely stay again if we come back to the area. The host is very kind. Highly recommend! »

« We were visiting South Bend for our first Notre Dame football game! This home was perfect for our group of 5! The home was beautiful and so clean! Communication with the home owner was so easy! We can’t wait to come up for our next game! »

« We loved the house. It was exceptionally clean and much larger than it looks. It was very convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. »

« We enjoyed our stay on the water at Koontz Lake! The house is a great spot to relax and enjoy the view. It had everything we needed. »

« Beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood. John has been great to work with over our stay. A great main floor for gathering with 5 bedrooms on the upper floors. The enclosed back patio would be great for small family gatherings. A good size back yard with a nice fire pit. I would highly recommend this space. »

« Had a wonderful weekend stay at the property. We had 4 adults, 4 kids and a baby comfortably fit in the home. There was a pack-n-play & high chair available to use for the baby that came in handy. Kitchen was fully equipped. WiFi helped with poor cell phone reception in the area. We had a fire in the pit outside for hotdogs and s'more's. The hot tub was not open for the season to use but hoping we can use on our next visit there. The yard goes right up to the dock & lake. Only complaint was that...
