« We had a lovely time relaxing in the cabin after spending a beautiful day riding the VA Creeper Trail from Abingdon back down to Damascus. The lodging was comfortable and clean. My son is stoked to come back to “our cabin” in the fall, and we will be back! Thank you for a lovely stay! »

« We had a great time here. It’s close to Abingdon, Damascus, and the Creeper Trail. My wife went down and had a wonderful time kayaking on the water with her kayak. The kitchen had everything we needed and the Blackstone was a hit with the kids for multiple meals. Looking forward to returning! »

« The best part for us was the quiet, privacy, and view that allowed us to relax. The cute cabin was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of linens and the kitchen was sufficiently stocked. The two porches had an amazing view. The walk down to the lake on the well-constructed stairs and landings to the dock was a hidden gem. We even caught some fish and would like to return again. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were in the area for an annual family reunion and this place was perfect for us! The kids enjoyed the outdoors, all the inside games and just having "adventures." Everything we needed was right there. We didn't even leave 1 of the days we were there. The uniqueness of the cabin was just perfect for our curious kiddos. It felt almost like Little House on the Prairie with some modern touches of course! We could tell there was much thought and love put into this...

« Our family stayed two nights while visiting Bristol for the NHRA races and found the location peaceful and quiet. It had everything we needed, but we ate out for our meals. The property does have WiFi and streaming services which was nice. The deck and screened in porch is lovely as well. The house is older but well maintained. »

« Everything was top-notch! The cabin is extremely well-appointed and exceptionally clean. Alergies aside, don't let the description pet friendly deter you from staying here without a pet. Due to the cleanliness, you could not even tell that pets have stayed here. We did have our dog with us and appreciated the little amenities such as food and water bowls, a crate inside the cabin and an enclosed porch to keep pets safe while they enjoy the outdoors with you. Terri was very communicative...

« We were celebrating our daughter’s 18th birthday with her friends and she is hitting the Appalachian Trail next year so she wanted to attend Trail Days. This cabin was a perfect place for both celebrating and getting much needed rest after a long day. My only suggestion is that you upgrade your pics because they do not do the cabin’s beauty justice. »
