« We were told as we arrived a basement bedroom carpet had been shampooed and was not completely dry. Were told the room was usable, the carpet should be dry soon. As we entered the house, the smell of damp/mildew coming up through the basement stairwell was immediately noticeable. In the main rec. room area of the basement the smell was strong. « The home was one of the nicest we have stayed in. The host was very accommodating and offered his help several times to make sure the stay was easy and comfortable. The winter weather came in and cut the trip and stay short. But, we do come to this area once a year and hope to book again. My husband took a group up for a conference and they were very complimentary of the comfort and beauty of the home. »

« We used this unit for our Women’s Retreat this year and it was an EXCELLENT experience!! We had an issue with the unit not being serviced before we got there and the owner was on top of it immediately! Communication with the owner was awesome and very hospitable! The hot tub was nice a hot! The unit is very spacious and suitable for a small family/friend getaway! Tip: Bring extra towels, and your own “non stick” cook wear! If we are ever back at the lake we will be booking this unit again! »
