We spent our first day exploring Beddeck, and our second with an incredible drive around the Cabot Trail. »

« This cottage is very cute and authentic and totally private. It is secluded and has such a beautiful viewsIt is up a relatively steep hill, but very accessible by car. The interior is low tech, but that’s not what we were looking for.It is still cozy and practical.The kitchen is fully furnished. The washer dryer are perfect, as well as the bbq (brand new and super clean).Ursula was a very friendly host and we are grateful for this experience! »

« Sandy and John are what Cape Breton hospitality is all about. Their well appointed home has everything you need and more. The magical path to the beach is lit with fairy lights and although a fire ban was in place during our visit we enjoyed their deck fire pit on crisp October nights. The house is secluded and surrounded by beautiful fall foliage. Internet and a large screen smart tv are available for rainy days. Not a sound was heard or a living soul spotted during our stay and we slept oh so...

« Mentioned some maintenance observations and was told these were in the listing. But not when I booked. One shower not working, no laundry. There were 2 other showers though. Otherwise the place offered many sitting areas inside and out. There were helpful tips about fire regulations.View of lake may be an overstatement. Yes, could see a bit. No direct access.Highlight was seeing a fox trot across the lawn at twilight. »
