A tourist with the Big Apple
The Big Apple is a bakery, restaurant and roadside attraction in the community of Colborne, part of the municipality of Cramahe, Northumberland County in Central Ontario, Canada. It just off Ontario Highway 401 at interchange 497 (Northumberland County Road 25/Percy Street) and is recognizable from the highway because of what it claims is the world's largest apple.

With a height of 10.7 metres (35 ft) and diameter of 11.6 metres (38 ft), the Big Apple features an observation deck.

The site also features a petting zoo and other amenities.

« We had a wonderful stay at this rental in the center of Wellington. There was plenty of space for 4 adults and 5 children. Everyone enjoyed the pool, which was very warm even though it doesn’t have a heater. « We had a great weekend, the location is in a really good place. The house is like on the pictures so it is really nice place.The parking for the car is not close from the house. There is no air conditioning and can get pretty hot. There is no curtains in the window of the principal bedroom wich offers a nice view but it is not so nice when the sun is rising in the morning.There is no no extra sheets, pillows or blankets for the sofa bed. Also not many towels. »

« There was lots of residual dust on the overhead fans so we didn’t turn them on in fear of getting it spread all over the place!Also there were a few dirty spots in and around the bathrooms. Some flickering lights and not able to replace them. In the kitchen there were no dessert spoons or measuring cups .
