« We had a wonderful reunion/women's retreat weekend! The house gave us plenty of room to spread out and all gather around the large table for family style meals. We enjoyed the beautiful views over the water and the autumn colors of the trees while enjoying the hot tub or sitting around the fire pit; something for everyone! The hosts were helpful and responded quickly to our questions. Thanks for a lovely stay. »

« Our stay at Oakwood Beach exceeded our expectations! Communications with the host, John, were all positive. The information packet was helpful. When we had one question concerning the operation of the outdoor fireplace, John promptly gave us help. The beach area had the feel and sound of the ocean. We took many pleasant walks on the beach. « We enjoyed this location for a Thanksgiving trip to see Philadelphia and local family. Check in and out was smooth. Recently rehabbed property, was very clean with quiet neoghbors. We had an issue with a doorknob and the owner came to fix it within hours of reporting it. The only difficulty was finding street parking later in the evening, but it was easy to find during the day. We rode the bus a couple times and walked every day, which helped us find local coffee & pie shop, murals, cheesesteak...

« The neighborhood was creepy. Mail was on the doorstep unopened, the owner never communicated the code to get in. I sent a text/email and never got a response. The neighbors were doing drugs. … some sort of sniffing, smoking?!? We felt totally unsafe and went to an Embassy Suites. I would expect a full refund and have contacted my credit card company to enter a complaint. I would never recommend this place to anyone !!! »
