« A lovely little cottage to stay with our pup, who loved the yard space to run around and explore. Close to several nice bushwalks and all that Daylesford has to offer. Great little kitchen with coffee machine, and appreciated the coffee and wine! Also was still cool enough to take advantage of the cozy fireplace. Spa was out of order but they let us know in advance. Overall had a really relaxing stay and will likely return in the future! »

« A fantastic little getaway. Tara Cottage was a perfect space for a quick little overnight stay in Daylesford. The place was immaculate, all the amenities were provided from oversized towels to a coffee machine, lots of choices on the TV and a comfy, warm space. Check in was easy, Prue is a wonderful host and we felt very safe and comfortable at the cottage. We didn't bring our dog on this trip, but the food and water bowls (plus treats!) were a welcomed amenity had our pup joined us. Really...

« Just a few comments for consideration. A grab rail in the shower over bath, fly screens on windows and doors and window furnishing on the loft window. The tv Ariel wall plug needs attention. Supply of coffee and milk would be appreciated. The grass required mowing. Despite this we enjoyed our stay in this comfortable light filled cottage which is close to the lovely Main Street of Lancefield. Also a hot tub is mentioned in the list of facilities - !! ? »

« The double spa bath is very welcome and decadent. The exterior is fun and has a luxurious cottage feel. Outside of that the cottage felt underwhelming, tired and in need of some repair. The bathroom needs regrouting, the vanity light wasn't working, the bed felt small, the main TV kept restarting and the light in the kitchen had a cardboard-box shade. All the appliances felt tired and in need of replacement. For the amount paid, it felt more like a 3 star than a 4 or 5 star stay. »
