« The Overlook has great space to accomodate a group that is looking for action at the lake or throughout the northern Texas country. Plenty of bathrooms, bedrooms and storage. The place is dated and could use some sprucing up, but if that doesn't matter to you, it's an incredible value for the space. »

« I booked our cabin for my family to celebrate Thanksgiving and we had the best time! The neighbor was quiet and peaceful and we had the chance to fully unplug. The instructions were clear and I had a very attentive team who checked in with us throughout our team. The house is packed with games, cooking pans and anything you might need for a cozy weekend. Will be booking again for Christmas- can’t wait! »

« The house was wonderful for our Christmas stay! We had three families converge from across the country and we all were comfortable and found everything we needed for cooking every meal. We saw coyotes, deer, armadillos and an eagle. Our stay couldn’t have been better. »

« Pros; The staff were polite and friendly. It was close to the water and quiet. Food in the lounge was good.Cons: It did not look like the pictures at all. There was no check in instructions left before we arrived. We opened the cabing and it smelled extremely musty!! It had spiderwebs all over the front of the entrance. The ceiling fan in the bedroom did not work and the AC barely worked so they provided a floor model as well. Problem was that it put out warm air on the side as well. So...

« We booked this for a quiet get away and it was definitely that. We had the property to ourselves during our stay. Communication with the property owner was good once I logged into my Expedia account and asked her to text me. Expedia/VRBO never sent any notifications that I had messages waiting from her. A couple things to note, the restrooms are detached from each cabin and there is no sink or anything in the cabins. Each cabin has its own private bathroom, but is something to be aware of....
