« We’ve been coming to Davis for a long time but this was our first time staying in Black Bear. The Bear Lair was perfect for our stay. Clean, well decorated, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, and plenty of firewood. The central location was great as we bounced between Dolly Sods, Timberline, White Grass and downtown Davis. Abby was super responsive and accommodating. We definitely plan to return. »

« Our Host was awesome, when we first arrived the heat wasn't working and there was someone there within 20 mins and fixed. No issues the rest of the weekend. »

« Great place to stay for our family New Years get-away. Only issues encountered was the quantity of silverware did not match the stay capacity and we did not have a snow shovel (it snowed every day we were there which was great for the stay). »

« My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at The Deep Creek cabin. The space was fully equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen, bathrooms, and living spaces, plenty of room for the two of us. We both commented about how comfortable the main level bed was. Check-in was super easy, the electronic keypad to lock/unlock the front door was more convenient than having to worry about a key. « We had a great stay! We chose this cabin to help us escape from our busy life. The home is beautiful, designed with such care and unique finishes. The kitchen is well stocked with high quality cookware and appliances (there was even a large assortment of coffees, spices, sweeteners), the outdoor space is incredible, and the setting is gorgeous.
