« This property was exceptional! It had everything we needed to cook, wash our clothes and just enjoy. We were there in mid-September so it was a little bit cool in the mornings but the pool seemed to hold the warmth of the day. Floaters (even for kids toddlers) plenty of comfy seating outside to enjoy the pool. It has a bbq grill (we didn’t use) and plenty of space around the pool. We slept in the 1st level bedroom. « The house was perfect for us. It was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. We were also very impressed with the incredibly simple checkout instructions, which was a welcomed change from many other vacation properties. « Christen was great to respond and was eager to allow an earlier check in to match our schedule. The house was great with a lot of space. Everything was clean and neat. Nice fenced in yard for our pets and awesome view of the nearby river. Great trip! »

« We used this lovely home as the location for our bridal party to get dressed and ready for the day. The outside views are stunning. Kentucky farm land at its best. Literally rolling green hills. Our plan was to take all of the wedding photos outside there but unfortunately we got rained out and had to switch locations suddenly. « We were there for my son’s wedding. Plenty of space, wonderful bathrooms and soaking tubs. Nice neighborhood. We had everything we needed. »

« Stayed here for a long weekend with my father as we were in town for a family reunion. Listing was exactly as pictured. We did have some issues entering the home as the extreme heat made the door stick and not unlock as easily. However, Julie was great and answered right away to help us get inside. Immediately walked in to a clean and cool house after being outside all day in the humidity. Very quiet and was a perfect home away from home! Would definitely rent out this bungalow again. « We love the location of this property. The Madisonville City Park has so much to offer families. We will definitely be back! Waking up in the morning and looking at the lake is a real bonus! »

« Nice yard. All beds VERY comfortable! Nice and sunny and relaxing. Close walking and biking path was very close. My only suggestion would be a small table and lamp in the room with the twin bed and one on both sides for the double bed room. Mirrors in the rooms would be helpful too. Those are very minor suggestions. It was a great place and location and we would gladly use it again ! »

« We met the owner promptly at check in time. He very kindly showed us around the house and yard.The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. The rooms were clean and tidy. The marble top, long dining table was perfect to gather around for a meal together. It was a very positive experience staying at this house as well as communicating with the host. »

« Such a cute place!! We needed a place to sleep for the night, and this was perfect! Convenient location, very clean, comfortable beds, and fantastic host. Whitney left a personalized note for us and had a snack basket ready for us when we arrived. She also provided coffee and toiletries such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. »

« We had two couples staying for weekend wedding rehearsal and wedding. This house was great for the 4 of us. We gave it 5 stars across the board even though the hot tub has evidently been off for a while. The water was very green and murky. Our guess was the owners didn’t realize it was off and the house was otherwise perfect. »
