« We had a lovely stay here at the cozy hideaway. The cabin was adorable, clean, and well designed. Having the pond and the animals around was such a fun experience. Our favorite part had to be all of the cats that greeted us when we arrived and joined us at the fire pit and the pond. We would love to stay here again and recommend this host and property! »

« The cabin was clean and cozy in a quiet neighborhood. We stayed in the winter so we didn’t get to enjoy the lake but it looked like a great stay for anyone during nicer weather! »

« Beds were nice and the property was spacious, but smaller than appears in photos. The driveway was quite difficult to put our boat trailer in. We put our boat in at the marina because we would have bent the trailer trying to back it into the driveway with the boat on it. We suggest leaving at the marina as it was really really tough with the grade of the driveway, the driveway being on the bend and the narrowness of the road and driveway to make the swing. « Beautiful property and super clean. The house is surrounded by trees, prairie grasses, and a farm field in the back so it’s really secluded and peaceful. Communication with the host was easy, friendly, and super clear. The hosts left a binder with a ton of helpful information in it. « Excellent place to stay to explore the eastern portion of the Shawnee National Forest. We used it as a launching point to see the Garden of the Gods, Cave in Rock, and Dixon Springs State Park. Wish we had another day to do more exploring. The cabin is secluded, so stock up on groceries and charcoal for the grill before you arrive.
