« The outside of the cabin was beautiful - just what we were looking for in a secluded cabin. But the inside blew us away. Incredible detail making it very modern but with a rustic flair. « We had an amazing time staying at this property. It was a convenient location for some guests who’d never visited the lake, lots of easy parking, the setup indoors was exactly as described, and we had a gorgeous weekend on the water swimming and using the kayaks. Having coffee on the deck looking out at the view was my personal favorite. The hospitality of Jeff and Heather is unsurpassed! »

« This property is amazing!! The scenery is like no other. We seen deer through the whole time we where here. These cuties are everywhere so be careful driving. The house has so much to offer. From all the room downstairs that leads out to the deck over looking the lake. We lucked out during our September trip with 90 degrees which lead us to do some floating on the lake and also kayaking. « My partner and I had a perfect mini getaway at The Blue Heron cabin this past weekend. I would absolutely recommend this A-frame and already have! The cabin is remotely located on a very large piece of property that contains two other A-frames. This cabin in particular sits off to the side and is probably the most private of the three, although they are all very private. « Adorable cabin. Great location as far as being central to hiking trails. Check in was hassle-free. Hot tub was wonderful. Only issue was with the cleanliness outside. The outside seating, gas grill, and hot tub cover all looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. My wife had to get a rag to wipe down the chairs outside so she could sit. Whoever does the cleaning should wipe those things down after each stay. Just a minor complaint. Overall enjoyable stay. »

« We stayed a week at this lovely home and had a great time. It was so clean, and all the furniture and beds were very comfortable. The area is filled with fun things to do. Plenty of nature hikes at Ferne Clyffe State park, and the Garden of the Gods is worth the short drive. The lake was calm and we enjoyed several kayak trips. We look forward to coming back!
