« My husband and I stayed here for his 60th bday. We enjoyed our two night stay. It a pretty place and the hot springs/tubs were an added benefit. Be careful though and test the temperature of the water before rushing in, as one of the pools was scalding hot. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. We would stay here again. »

« The room was super cozy and has everything you would need while you stay. The hot tub worked great, and it’s super peaceful to look at the stars and trees while you are sitting in it. Alex is an incredible host - very responsive and kind and gave us great advice about the area.You can easily walk to coffee shops and restaurants and grocery stores (not tomentioned the lake!!). We could not have hoped for a more perfect first visit to Tahoe. »

« So fun to stay in the Red Caboose!! Very comfortable. Loved all the little touches inside. So much to look at. I enjoyed waving to the Virginia &Truckee Train as it went by. The main part of town was easy walking distance (some hills) and had a fabulous breakfast at Crazy Calamities. Sitting out in the gazebo was relaxing and I was happy to have several deer walk past! »

« The place exceeded my and my family's expectations, a very cozy place, clean, tidy, with all the comforts. We felt at home. We would return. Teresa was an excellent host, she left us a welcome letter, a property manual, suggestions for restaurants and activities nearby, a very quiet neighborhood. I only recommend putting salt on the entrance stairs to prevent snow accumulation and avoid an accident. For everything else. Wonderful experience »

« This is a great place for 2 (there is a couch and, I believe, a rollaway bed so 4 could probably make it). It’s small/cozy, but we don’t vacation for the accommodations. We don’t want to stay in a dump, but we go places to see and do so we don’t spend lots of hours, or days, lounging around our room. It’s been renovated recently. Full kitchen (including dishwasher) and bath. Pots, pans, silverware, coffee maker…basics for meal prep if you don’t want to eat out 2-3 times a day. It’s only 2-3...
