Afton’s Elkhorn Arch is 18 feet high and made of 3000 elk (Wapiti) antlers. The arch was finished in 1958, taking two years to complete at a cost of $2,500.00 plus many hours of volunteer time. The antlers, shed by elk every spring were gathered at a nearby elk reserve.

« We stayed at this location for our annual family reunion trip and it was perfect. We had 24 individuals and everyone slept comfortably. The kitchen was fully stocked. The porch had such a beautiful view. The hot tub was great. The kids LOVED the theater room. The garage was stocked with bikes, beach toys, etc. The property managers were quick to respond to any questions we had. It was GREAT! »

« Our large family stayed here the last four nights. Most of us are adults but we still have several children of all ages.We liked the closeness to North Beach. We also used the private beach one day. We spend most of the day at the beach.The beds are beyond comfortable. I joked that I wanted to steal the mattress and take it home. (Caution: if you are old and short the master bed is very high. We took the other main floor room.) Even with a large group we never ran out of clean towels.The view...

« The was a very nice place very close to the ski area. The shuttle that serviced the condo was very convenient and the property management team was very responsive. The homeowner association shoveled the snow most days. The only downside was that someone showed up at 5 am one morning and was shoveling the back patio when not needed. Waking up at 5 am was not my plan. The condo had plenty of room and expected amenities and was clean. »

« Walking into the home was a beautiful experience. It was very welcoming, and my family was immediately excited to be there. There was no snow at all throughout our stay, but we were able to walk along the side of the beach and find parks to play at. We loved making our favorite foods and they had everything we needed. « This tranquil and beautiful property is located on the slopes of the mountains surrounding Bear Lake. The views of the blue lake from the deck are amazing. There’s plenty of room for large groups. We had ten and it accommodated us nicely. Owner was responsive to all messages. If I had to say anything negative it would be that the beach club amenities were dated and very crowded but we were there for Pioneer Day weekend. Conversely, the marina was very easy to access for our watercraft....

« The space was perfect for our family. The kids played downstairs with plenty of room. We were able to all eat together at the same time. We loved the tables (especially playing games). The beds were comfortable. The hosts were quick to respond with any little question we had. It is a beautiful place where we just relaxed during the Christmas holiday.
