« We rented this home for my son’s wedding. The groomsmen and dates stayed here. The house was large enough for them to all be comfortable and close enough to Hickory for the wedding. The game room was a big hit. Had it been warmer and they had more time, they would have taken advantage of the lakefront. The hosts were so attentive to make sure our stay was comfortable and stress free. Highly recommend this home and Flying Squirrel! »

The kitchen had everything we could have possibly wanted including spices and storage containers. I cannot say enough positive things about this house. I would definitely stay again. « Really nothing special. Furniture in back was thrown all around. Nothing was set up. Dirty ashtrays sitting on tables in back and front of home. Ants in bathroom. It wasn’t as pleasant as we thought it would be. Some of the towels looked dirty etc. very surprising. »

« The home was beautiful. Right on the lake, wonderful yard and deck overlooking the lake. The back porch was covered, with multiple, comfortable dining and seating options. The overhead heaters were perfect as we experienced some cold weather but still loved sitting outside together around the fire. The inside was well furnished and completely updated.
