The 5 intake towers at Saluda Shoals Dam on Lake Murray (located Northwest of Columbia, SC). The dam is 1.7 miles long. The dam was the largest earthen dam in the world when completed in 1930 and the largest man-made lake in the world at that time. We live on this lake, about 10 miles by boat from the towers.

« It was not very clean there. Sitting at the kitchen table and you would feel something funny and it would be ants crawling on you. I booked the place for 6 days for 2 people. There were 2 towels there. I asked if they had any extra towels and they never even bothered responding. I went and bought my own towels and pillows and blankets while we were there.
