« For an inexpensive motel, this was a pleasant surprise. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Not mentioned in other reviews, there was a coffee maker and small refrigerator. The only dissappointment is the town had no stores or taverns open at 5pm on a Thursday afternoon except the American Legion which we did not have our membership cards with us. So, we had a great dinner at the corner Mexican resturant which seemed to be a town favorite. Our waitress was delightful ! Would stay there again. »

« Don’t stay at the Lakeview Lodge Motel. The room was horrible! Here is why: the bathroom was a disaster. The sink faucet wasn’t fastened to the sink, the bath towels looked like shop rags, the shower had so many repairs it was all stained and dirty, plumbing line for the bathroom was on the outside wall in the room…weird. Furniture was not the best there were two desk type chairs and one was broken. Then the bed linen was stained and looked used. We went to the manager, Mike, and told him our...

« While it is small and an old building, it was cleaner than most hotels. It was actually impeccable. And the bed was comfortable, which is why we stopped. »

« Hotel was hard to find, no lights on signage or in lobby building. At checkin the card machine was broken. No explanation of amenities, hot spring pool location (again with no lights) and was not clean. Room had broken lights, FIRM mattress and broken shower towel rack. Mold growing in cracks of shower curtain. This place has charm, but needs a little work in the hospitality department. »
