« The staff are amazingly helpful, polite and friendly. They made us feel incredibly welcome despite our very late arrival. The waterhole, good and service are great and this has been our experience in Kenya so far. « I loved the hotel and some of the best and most attentive service anywhere I've ever stayed. The signposting to the camp needs drastic improvement (my taxi got lost which I understood) and the road to get there is dreadful. The accommodation is fabulous and I slept so well. The hotel has an Indian owner and most of the guests were Indian, either from India or local. The way they spoke to and disrespectfully treated the staff was shocking and entirely unacceptable. « Our 3 days at Samburu Intrepids Tented Camp was the best- the dining, the game drives, the service, the beauty of the area. « Elephant Bedroom is a luxury tented camp that provides great individual service for its guests. We had a wonderful guide on our game drives who was sensitive to our wishes as photographers. The only drawback is that electricity is only available in the camp at certain times of the day which means that battery charging has to be carefully planned and it is important to bring spares if you are a heavy user. »
